We decided to do a low-key family party for Luke’s third birthday. Maggie and Jo graciously agreed to let us have it their house and we planned to enjoy the pool. Well, for the second year in a row, Luke’s party was on a rainy day. But the rain didn’t stop people from swimming—and Luke and Lily had a fun time swimming and playing in the rain! Here are some pictures from the day.
Luke couldn’t decide if he wanted a Batman or a Superman cake, so his wonderful Ammy made one of each! Thanks Ammy! She also made the Batman cake for Mark and David’s fourth birthday. (Luke is looking at the picture of Daddy and Uncle David with their Batman and Cookie Monster cakes in one of the pictures above.)
Luke and Lily had a great time swimming in the rain. Thank goodness for heated pools! Nana and PawPaw even got in too.
Luke was quite the little performer and treated us to an awesome dance performance when we turned Maggie’s jukebox on.
Here is Luke taking a little rest from all the dancing.
Luke got a lot of fun presents from everyone.
Maggie gave Luke his very own Ford F-150. He has been having so much fun driving it all around the backyard. She even put Longhorn stickers on it and his own license plate. Lily took a ride in it too. It is too cute!
It was a really fun day and we are so thankful for our wonderful family. Thanks everyone for making Luke’s third birthday so special!!

I dearly loved Luke's 3rd birthday party at Maggie and Jo's.
I think Luke knew it was his very own special day to party. What I know is that he is loved a whole lot by all who attended.

what a fun party!! luke just gets cuter and cuter!
That was a fun day. I loved how the rain didn't even phase Luke, Lily or Paw-Paw James.
His party looks like a blast. I love the double cakes!
Love the FOrd...that is an awesome gift and loved the cake!
Suzanne, I got Gavin's shirt off Etsy. The seller was called Fly Duds I think. They did a good job, and it was cheap! :) Hope you can find a cute one for Luke!
the party was super fun... even with all the rain. lily's still talking about tex and harley...even though they never even came close.
Luke's 3rd b-day was so much fun! Maggie and Jo's place is awesome. Ammy is so talented. The cakes were amazing. Luke getting his own F150 from Maggie was very cool. Luke is truly a blessed child and he is such a blessing to us all. Love, Nana
