Luke had his first soccer game this past Saturday. He did so good! I was so proud of him. He even scored a goal for his team—the Lizards! He was not afraid to get in there and try his best to kick the ball. I really was so proud of him. I’m all for him playing soccer or golf or tennis! Just no football. I like the sports where there is little to no danger involved. He seemed to have a great time and wore himself out running so much. We are doing it at the YMCA. There are other more competitive leagues but we wanted to see if he even had an interest in the sport before we invested a lot of time and money in something. Plus, he’s five. It’s all about having fun right now anyway. Here are a bunch of pictures from his game:

This picture makes me laugh because it looks like he is giving this girl on the opposing team a dirty look. I’m sure he wasn’t—he was probably asking her a question or something. :)

These pictures are wonderful -no doubt Luke likes soccer and the James Family may be in for several seasons. Would also love to know what he is talking about with the little girl. He loves people - friend or foe - He is the BEST!!
