The 4th of July is a huge holiday in the James family. Jim and Sharon throw a fun barbeque at their house outside of Temple. This year the count was 91 people!! It is always a lot of fun. The first time I met all of Mark’s family was on the 4th. He and David invited a bunch of friends (and I was one of those.). I rode to Belton with Mark and two other girls. We weren’t dating at the time but I do have a strong memory of being there and thinking I should be (and wanted to be) a part of his family. Here we are—seven years of marriage and two kids later! I never am good about taking pictures during the party because I am busy watching the boys or talking to friends. I did take a few of the boys in their matching shirts before it started. And I managed to snap a few during the party.
