Instagram Update

Here is a post filled with Instagram photos I’ve taken on my phone to show what we’ve been up to lately.  I feel so behind on blogging and then I get overwhelmed so I don’t do anything.  I decided to just do this and maybe I’ll eventually blog about some old stuff or maybe I won’t.  But I have to start somewhere.

Ethan got his first big boy haircut in either April or May.  I can’t remember.  He did so good and looked so cute and so much older.  I’m going to have to learn to style his curls. 

This is Luke doing a super hero pose for the camera.  One of the only times he actually posed for me.

Ethan was sick a few weeks ago with a high fever.  We never really found out what it was.  It wasn’t fun for him or mommy.

Ammy cleaned out her attic and got down a lot of Mark and David’s old toys.  She had kept a ton of cool Star Wars toys.  Luke has had a blast playing with them at their house. I tried to get a picture of Luke playing with them but he wouldn’t cooperate. :)

We spent a fun Saturday swimming at Maggie and Jo’s pool.  Luke absolutely loves the water.  Ethan seems to be a fan but he is not into being in a float.  He wants to be held. I’m hoping he learns to like the float so I can take both boys to the pool this summer. 

After a full day of swimming at Maggie and Jo’s, Luke took a super long nap in Ammy and Paw Paw’s sunroom.  He had had a fun sleepover with Ammy in the sunroom the night before.

Ethan has eight teeth now.  I love this sweet picture of him.  You can’t really see them in the picture but he had two bruises on his forehead from two head injuries sustained within about an hour of each other.  He still falls a lot while walking but is getting steadier every day.

Ethan is wearing the little British soccer uniform or “kit” that Uncle David brought Luke when he visited England a few years ago.  We have a picture somewhere of Luke in this outfit.  So cute.

 

Mark was out of town for a few days to attend a conference in Virginia so we spent the time at my parents’ house since Nana is finally out of school for the summer.  Lukie and Lily’s friend Gwynn came over and they played and played.

Well….there are some photos of what has been going on with us.  Thank goodness I have a camera on my phone or there might not be any pictures of my kids.  I like the pictures to be big so I apologize if it takes forever to load this post. :)
